About Me

"We are proud of being a woman owned business and of selling jewelry and accessories that are woman owned, artisan made, and environmentally sustainable."

Lynne Cole, Graduate Gemologist, Founder and Designer

For over 30 years I have been designing custom diamond and gemstone pieces. I love working with customers to restyle heirloom stones and to create brand new pieces. I also appraise and repair the pieces in your jewelry box that may need some attention.

I am a graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America.  I studied in residence in 1987 and served as the Vice President of the Illinois/Wisconsin Alumni Association for 2 years.  I have since worked on Michigan Ave in Chicago and learned the retail side of Gems from some of the best Chicagoland jewelry designers.

My life's passion are my three horses and daughters. I designed my first pieces of equine jewelry for my daughters to wear when showing miniature horses as members of our local 4-H club.  I love horses and believe that equestrian jewelry should be classic and timeless, made of precious metals with precious stones. My jewelry is made to be passed down from horsewoman to horsewoman and to be worn with pride for generations.

From my first design I have slowly grown Geneva Lakes Jewelry over the past 20 years. I started traveling to trade and horse shows as vendors and opened my first retail space in Williams Bay in 2009. We quickly outgrew that space and moved to Lake Geneva, first on Cook St. and now on Main St. next to Sopra (yum!). We are proud of being a woman owned business and of selling jewelry and accessories that are woman owned, artisan made, and environmentally sustainable.
